Each student chooses one quote card from Look at Yourself in the Air — a deck of 30 Ghobbuls-illustrated messages designed for quiet reflection. Your chosen quote becomes a mirror, guiding you to connect its words to your own story. Through simple lines, shapes, and colors, you’ll transform that message into art that expresses how you feel and what you’ve discovered. This gentle session combines illustration, storytelling, and reflection, helping you view your emotions from a new and creative perspective.
Class Time:
2 hours of learning!
In this class, students will learn how to express their feelings and stories through illustration and simple visual language.
By choosing one quote from Look at Yourself in the Air, they’ll explore how words can spark emotion and imagination.
Through guided steps, they’ll turn that inspiration into an artwork that reflects their personal narrative — discovering how story, color, and line reveal the inner self.
Even beginners will gain confidence in expressing themselves, and by sharing their work in a supportive space, they’ll experience the healing power of reflection and connection.
I am a graphic designer and mixed-media artist who has studied art therapy and developed my own style of healing art. For many years, I have been teaching art mainly to children, helping them discover joy and confidence in creativity. Through this, I learned how to create safe and encouraging spaces where anyone—child or adult—can explore their feelings freely.
Now, I continue this work through The Ghobbuls Project, where I combine art, storytelling, and healing practices to guide people on their personal journeys. My teaching is not only about technique—it is about helping each student connect with their inner world and transform emotions into art, so that they can discover and express their unique story.
This live, online class is held in a small group setting, limited to ten students to ensure personal guidance and connection.
The single 120-minute session includes an introduction, a guided creative process, and time for sharing and reflection.
All materials are simple and flexible — you can use paper, pencils, markers, or any art supplies available at home.
I will begin by demonstrating basic art techniques and sharing sample works to inspire your ideas.
Students will have time to create their own pieces, and those who wish may email their finished work afterward.
I’ll reply with kind feedback and encouragement, helping you continue your creative journey beyond the class.
Take this class if you want more than just an art activity—you want a space to breathe, to notice your own feelings, and to see them reflected on paper. This class is for anyone who feels stuck, stressed, or simply curious about their own creativity. You don’t need to be “an artist.” What you need is the willingness to explore.
In this class, you’ll discover that your feelings can become shapes, colors, and even stories. You’ll find joy in creating without judgment, and strength in sharing with others. This is for anyone who wants to reconnect with themselves, heal through creativity, and bring a little more light into daily life.
