This class is for beginners who want to learn more about accompaniment on the guitar, including how to play chords, keep rhythm, and follow along with songs you love.

I'm really excited to help you start on your music journey. When I was first learning music, I had to teach myself much of what I knew. Though that process is part of who I am as a musician, I sometimes wish I would have had someone to help make it go smoother! As an instructor, I know the places where it's easy to get confused, and I'm here to walk you through them. Expect lots of real-life examples of class topics, including ones provided by you! This class will be taught live utilizing a video platform. I will be using Noteflight, a music notation tool, to demonstrate some concepts, as well as online printouts of chords for songs. You'll need access to a guitar during class times and a willingness to learn, but other than that there's no prerequisites. I hope to see you there!
