Game development is an exciting hobby and career, so I'm excited to help you start on that journey! I've been developing games in the Unity engine for 14 years and have recently helped release a point-and-click adventure game, SpaceVenture, into Early Access on Steam. I know the common challenges beginners face when learning Unity, and this course will help guide you past those roadblocks with clear explanations and hands-on practice.
I'll be teaching these sessions live via video conference with screen-sharing as needed. You'll need access to a computer that can run Unity 6. All lessons are structured to gradually build your skills, and you’ll have access to me directly if you have issues during sessions or if you have trouble with an exercise. At the end of each session, I may ask you to do small optional challenges before the next session. By the end of the course, you’ll have a completed project and a strong foundation to continue your journey in Unity game development.
More about Tyler
Hi, I'm Tyler! I've been an IT professional across many technical disciplines over the last twenty years, but by far my favorite time has been spent developing games. Ever since I was a kid, I've been playing games and working to make games. There are literally infinite worlds to create and explore. From the early shooters like Doom, to the latest open-world mega hits, my passion for games and the industry has grown to where I am now. Since the release of my last game project, I've found myself eager to share my knowledge and experience with a new generation of makers, you!
