Have you always wanted to play along to your favorite songs on the piano or keyboard? If so, this is the class for you! Hi, I'm Natalie, and I've been playing music for over 15 years. This class is for anyone who can read basic sheet music and identify note names on the piano (i.e. knows the difference between a C, D, E, and so on).

I'm really excited to help you start on your music journey. When I was first learning music, I had to teach myself much of what I knew. Though that process is part of who I am as a musician, I sometimes wish I would have had someone to help make it go smoother! As an instructor, I know the places where it's easy to get confused, and I'm here to walk you through them.
Expect lots of real-life examples of class topics, including ones provided by you! This class will be taught live utilizing a video platform. I will be using Noteflight, a music notation tool, to demonstrate some concepts as well as online printouts with song chords. Other than the ability to read sheet music and identify note names, there are no prerequisites for this course. You'll need access to a piano or keyboard during class times and a willingness to learn. I hope to see you there!
